Our Plan:
We are constructing a multi-use outdoor space to serve as the heart of the Ecovillage commons during spring, summer, and fall months. This 20x40 screened in shed-style pavilion overlooks a scenic pond, with all four sides open to sunlight and fresh air.
An outdoor kitchen will provide plenty of space to share meals together, and will be the main gathering space as we work and play in the Ecovillage in the months to come.
In addition to cooking and eating, this space will be used for yoga, dancing, hanging out, hammocks, music, and general chill sessions.
We are inviting investment in this project from friends, curious folks, and future visitors!
The cost for construction of this awesome facility is $15,000 ($2000 for design / consulting + $13,000 for materials.)
In exchange for your contribution, you will receive Ecovillage credit to use when you come visit -- for day use, overnight camping, etc.
You can even become a "Structural Supporter" with a contribution of $1500 or more. This means that you can designate one of the 10 structural posts to be marked with your name (or the name of an honoree.)
