We see ourselves not as owners or developers, but as stewards of the land during our short time on Earth.
The Minnesota Ecovillage Project exists to create a place where humans can thrive in close relationship to one another and the natural world, and where our labor can serve the needs of human/ecological well-being rather than fueling the endless cycle of consumption and waste that fuels our nation's economy.
Our plan includes creating small-scale sustainable economies in the village and the broader community through small-scale agriculture, wellness events and retreat spaces to share with guests, rental cabins and yurts, and non-profit educational endeavors to promote practical skills and natural education.
